"As a primary care physician, the best tool that I have in my toolbox when it comes to treating my patients is my ability to form relationships with them. Medicines, tests, and labs are vitally important, but the foundation of the treatment plan is really built on the relationship between the doctor and the patient. If physicians really want to improve the health of our patients, then we must promote wellness. Wellness is more than just the absence of illness - it's about thriving in every aspect of your life. Focusing on wellness means prioritizing not just physical health but also mental and emotional well-being. This focus on physical, mental, and emotional health is the only way we are going to advance healthcare outcomes."
